The number on a golf ball exists so that people know the difference between their balls, because golf balls can be indistinguishable. Discover how golfers put marks on their golf balls to make them unique with help from a member of the PGA National Teaching Committee in this free video on golf balls. Expert: Jay Golden Contact: www.goldengolftv.com Bio: Jay Golden has been a PGA Member since 1982, and was selected for the PGA National Teaching Committee in 1988. Filmmaker: Suzie Vigon

WTF. bullshit! As the numbers go up, the casing of the ball is harder, basically 1-3 balls are softer for around the greens and generate more spin and 4-6 are harder, more durable and travel further off drives.
The little rule about the 2 balls, one being out is not bad.
Otherwise… its pretty self explanatory
@commonsense369 nigga fuck you.
@ATsax501 bet you he could beat your lame ass
Thank you for the tip
Does this guy think we are stupid? Jeez.
or just use a dot ya faget
@ATsax501 He doesn’t have to be a touring pro to be a PGA member he can be a course pro
You’re annoying… And you always say PGA MEMBER JAY GOLDEN well how come I never hear about you? Do you suck?
A favorite number? Really? Are you a pro or just a superstitious goof?
What are you….twelve?
Silly video.
can you tell me what a provisional ball is? Or is it if you hit a ball and you think you hit it out of bounds but if you are not sure you hit another one just so that if the first one turns out to be out of bounds you dont have to walk back, I am still learning so I dont know all of the rules yet
Its nothing to do with the ball Spec. Its simply to make the ball more identifiable to the user on the golf course.
Just timed myself – 10 secs. Whats with the 2 minutes 25?
There’s some misinformation about rules in this video. Actually, if the player is unable to distinguish his/her provisional ball and original ball, the play is continued according to Dec 27/11, situation 3:
The ball in bounds must be presumed to be the provisional ball.
